Farewell.
Game Introduction
I've been procrastinating this for quite a while now, but I think I might as well make an update for anyone who still cares Anomaly has officially moved away from Scratch, and I have started a group called Mav Animation Studios. We did this for many reasons, which I will list below: - Production: Animation takes a long time, especially when it is done on Scratch by one person - Storage: Even just the trailer we made took up a lot of storage and required high-end computers to run well. Releasing the content on video-sharing platforms ensures it is easy to watch from any device - Content: We want to be able to present mature themes - Outreach: We want our animation to be popular, and in order for that, it needs to be easy to find - Monetization: We want to be able to profit off our hard work We are currently working on a trailer, which we plan to release and then start a fundraiser for the production of the full series. The trailer and series will be available to watch on YouTube. As far as my situation goes, I have not really used Scratch for years. I have made a couple small projects here and there, but in general I've just been really inactive. I think it's better to just call it quits, rather than hope that the motivation to make projects will come back. Because the truth is, it won't. I had my fun on Scratch when I was a kid, but I'm not a kid anymore. I've spent almost half of my life on this website. I've learned new things, and I've been changed in more ways than I can express. Scratch has become a huge part of my life, even if now indirectly. It has shown me my passions, animation and engineering, and has driven me to work hard to make my dream careers a reality. Even if I am leaving, I will never forget the countless mornings, afternoons, and nights that I spent creating, exploring, gaming, chatting, and laughing on this platform. I truly love Scratch and what it has done for me, and will be forever grateful for what the Scratch team has given me. If you read this far, thank you, and goodbye. Honorary mentions: Tornado Survival Simulator by @cabon2014 the first Scratch project I ever played @dhilly the animator who I spent countless hours watching https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/406637871/ my first project (never released) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/178939551/ my first project and "animation"
