How To Play

Happy Anniversary everyone! As you can see. I have nothing planned. Not even art. So I am making this into like an update.(ish??) where I talk about the future of WL and stuff. To be fair I thought we would be done by now but. Um. Public school happened. Also this kind of wasn’t on my mind. I’ve really just been focused on finishing WL, improving my art, and entertaining other comic ideas (that will probably not be on this site) since I am pretty much almost done with WL. I will say that we will be done by next year this time, I only have to sketch the epilogue and ink that and the last chapter, as well as color in 7 chapters and do chapter covers. I’m trying to get the first bit done before school starts because coloring, while boring, should be relatively easy to do. Especially if I’m ready to do it by or before the start of my school year because then I really have time to get a lot done before my schedule goes into full swing for theater and homework and stuff like that. As for you guys, you don’t have a long time left to wait for WL’s ending. There are only ten chapters left (not excluding the epilogue because I genuinely don’t think the story would be complete without it.) I plan to keep WL on a schedule for the rest of its run and everything should be out by December 6th, or even before then, which I’m really excited about. And as for the sequel… ahahaha… guys you forgot about that right…? don’t ask me about that… I’m joking dw. I know last time I mentioned the sequel was in that lore project I dropped and I said that I wouldn’t go with the original plan and implied that a sequel to WL would take place far into the future so I could make them furries— I mean humanoid *COUGHCOUGH* with the alien lore. This was mainly because I just am not as interested in warrior cats fiction as I used to be and I didn’t want to be working on another warrior cats comic. And WL wasn’t originally supposed to have a sequel when it was first conceived so I was like. This is fine. The alien lore still stays because it predates those sequel plans, it’s super cool, and it allows me to do so much more with the world and still do future projects with it if I wish. HOWEVER. I’ve changed my mind about the sequel and will be going back to the original plot. It just will be written in prose instead of a comic because it’ll just be less time consuming. This is mainly because I think the characters of WL won’t be complete without it. Tbh the story of WL was kind of haphazard, and halfway through the story started being created with it in mind that the sequel would truly complete a lot of these characters arcs. And I want to do this story justice, I want to have the ending planned from the start (something that did NOT happen with WL) I want it to have awesome writing and dialogue. I want to finish the journey with these characters. And it will be good because I’m not thirteen anymore and I actually figured out how to write good— But yeah that’s all I wanted to say, hope you guys have a good day.
