This animation is based on a stand-up comedy by Jim Gaffigan, and, of course, donuts. Yes, those delicious little cakes with a hole in the middle. No one knows why the hole exists, but some people say it helps the donut evenly cook, and others say it's for sliding the finger through so people can do other things, like ride a bike, while eating it.
