How To Play

This is just the 'bare bones' of a branching story, so that you can remix it and turn it into a real adventure. Inside, each page of the story is a backdrop. You can add as many pages as you like. There are also four lists (in the Data category): two for each of the decision buttons at the bottom of the screen. There is a 'text' list, which has the words for the button, and a 'pointer' list, which tells which page the button should take you to. Each page has a slot on the lists, 1, 2, 3, etc. Turn these on with the checkboxes next to them and see how they work. To add a new item to a list, click on the little plus sign ('+') at the bottom left corner of the liist. If you don't want the page number to show, turn off the checkbox next to the 'page number' variable.
