When I was little, I was terrified of public speaking, however, my mom MADE me speak to other people. She always said "It's not about you, it's about other people." and little by little, (after TONS of times speaking in public) my fear started to die away. Now I don't mind public speaking if it is in more of a "businesslike" speech. I still get nervous EVERYBODY Does. You just need to face your fears.
