How To Play
●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・● This is a drawing of my dog, Tex (male), which I did. I used a reference photo of him, which I took . It took me a few hours. If you want to, ask my permission first and give credit, thanks! <3 ADDITIONAL TIPS: - attend classes - start small, try drawing 3D shapes and objects and experiment with shading - when drawing, start with an outline of the object - look at other artist's drawings and look at how they have laid down their pencil - make the subject matter of the drawing interesting - practice, practice, practice! - coloured pencils don't really blend, but layer HOW TO DRAW THIS: - start with an outline using a pencil, sketch the body, eyes, ears, tail and tongue - sketch in the wrinkles in the tongue and the pupils in the eyes - outline highlights (areas that are bright) and shadows (areas that are dark) - I started colouring the eyes first, colour the white highlights and then colour the pupils black. Then, colour the rest of the eye yellowy brown. Add the pink skin around the eye and any other details - always look at your reference and just copy exactly what you see! Don't worry if you can't do it on your first try!! <3 NEVER give up!! All you need to do is look at the photo, look at how the colours can get darker and lighter, and copy that! - do the ears, tongue and nose - do the fur by laying down a base colour the doing quick short strokes over the top of that
