.+*timeline ~Tuesday, Feb. 23– I’m just curious how far I can take this and if I can get myself obsessed with it. Just curious. MY SENSE OF TIME IS ALREADY GETTING MIXED UP ~Wednesday, Feb. 24- this is an obsession. ~Saturday, Feb. 27- I took a few days and designed all of them alt outfits over a few days, and though I spent all night crying I've gotten them done. I'm really proud that they all have a unique and apparent style! I need to make some edits but at the moment they look fineee Look what I found! Welcome fren :) ~Arrow keys, space, and click to advance~ Mouse over the bar at the bottom to read a description of the image .+*what you can assume ~when I make changes to characters I'm probably looking at a picture from them in an older series (because the character design and diversity is just so much better it's crazy) ~names are most likely google searches along the lines of "names meaning [x]" ~I don't know what I'm doing .+*somewhat a description (more of a rant that only sort of explains what I'm doing) AAH, OKAY, IT’S JUST all of a sudden all of the kids' characters I grew up with are stuck in my head again and I find myself wanting to revamp them and give them new life where before most are just walking stereotypes and I was thinking about the strawberry shortcake cast especially because I recently redrew a watercolor painting I did a while ago of my redesigns and there were things I wanted to touch up that I noticed while redrawing it, namely a lack of variety in body types and skin tones, both things I’m trying harder to represent in my art and characters. SO at one am on Tuesday because I’m smart I decided to draw them for a bit to reward myself for just barely turning my homework in on time (as you do). I didn't include cherry girl as part of the main cast because I have no clue who she is. I remember watching a bit of the 2009 series as a kid but she wasn't in it. I've come to the conclusion that she comes in late in the series and that I'll never know who she is because finding episodes she's in is very complicated and time-consuming so I'd rather not. She will be in the story but later and probably nothing like the series character. Everything written here was written in my mindset at the time of adding the costume and has not been altered since! This has been a year long project and some things I say don’t line up with the end product :3 THE HAT IS ICONIC BUT I COULCN’T KEEP IT I’M SO SORRY Um yeah I think I said it before but I’. Tired and should be sleeping since I have a tournament tomorrow and have to get up at 6am and basically everything is in the project, send me a link to your project if you redesign the characters!
