Note: If you have a DNI list, I don't hate you. I just don't agree with the choice of the use of having one /g. Yeah, I got a few issues with the "DNI lists" going around. I'll be having some sections on why I'm not interested in the idea. 1. Valid reasoning - I can actually understand things like racists, sexists, ableists, etc. Those people have messed up beliefs so it's not a surprise that you might not want them to interact with you. Still don't like the idea of "DNI" though. An alternative would probably be: "My profile/content is a safe place for all. There will be absolutely no discrimination, etc." 2. Politics and beliefs. This is when DNI lists get rough with me. Especially on scratch. Literally I see DNI lists with pr0 l1fe and stuff. Like what? You don't have to support the beliefs but you can't block people who have different political backgrounds and beliefs unless if they are actually harmful. 3. Fandoms/characters/etc. Yeah, I hate this one. People are different from you, please accept that. It might be hard in comforts/discomforts but can we have an alternative for that as well? Like this: "My content/profile talks/has content including (insert interests here) and (talks about dislikes). If you don't feel comfortable with that, I suggest you don't follow my content /lh." 4. People. Okay, but this is where it gets way too far. Look, I get it, some people have probably harmed you. But it's your responsibility to tell them *privately* that they don't interact with you. You don't have to tell all your fans about them. Yeah, like I said before, I'm not a fan of these. You can still have them I guess, I'm just not interested in most of them.
