Warrior Cats: Obscured Past
Game Introduction
If you encounter any glitches, please inform me of them. The same goes for major spelling errors. I'll try my best to fix any errors within the game. Character List: Awesomestar: Orange tom with immaculate flowing blonde hair Brilliantheart: Gray tom sitting beneath Awesomestar Ambergaze: White she-cat with amber eyes Scatteredsnow: Orange she-cat with white flecks Fogkit: Gray kit beside Ambergaze Spottedkit: White and gray kit outside the Nursery Thornkit: Sand colored kit outside the Nursery Spiderjump: Black she-cat Needlefur: Brown and gray warrior (One character is excluded from this list, as it would spoil the final fight/main plot point if they were included. I like their character too much to dull their introduction.) If you don't want to glitch the game out/have to start over, please follow the "rules" below: -Wait until a character is fully done talking to click on them again. This could effect certain questions asked within the game, and could also disrupt fight scenes. (Also, this game's dialogue can be very long, so you'll be reading twice as much if you don't do this.) -When answering questions, please type everything correctly, as directed within the game. (Example: Type "Y" or "y" instead of "Yes." This will save you time, as not doing this will lead you to restart dialogue over again, or you may possibly have to restart the entire game if you incorrectly input an answer during the final fight of the game, as you will not be prompted to re-answer. I might fix this in the future.) Things to note: -In order to progress the game, you need to sleep. (You can sleep at sunset or at night.) -If the day is not progressing, you may still have a task to do. To fix this, try talking to Awesomestar, Brilliantheart, or Spiderjump, as you may still have a task to do for them. -Characters will talk fast, with long speech bubbles. Please be ready to read fast/skim over the text. - In order to become a med app, you must talk to Spiderjump on day two. She will prompt you to help her clean her den, which will be followed by a request for you to become med app. (This can ONLY be done on day two, when Thornkit appears outside the nursery.) - After becoming an apprentice, your bed will appear in the right-hand side of the apprentice den. (Located next to the warrior's den.) If Spottedkit doesn't appear within the apprentice den, exit the den, go to a different area, come back, and re-enter the den. Spottedkit should appear after this. If she doesn't, please inform me and I'll try to fix this issue. (It's stopped occurring for now, but it's good to be sure, I suppose.) -I most certainly didn't misspell "Houndstar's Vengeance," and I am most certainly too lazy to go and fix it. (So shhhhh. Pretend it's spelt correctly.) Hints regarding the different endings: -Plead rather than attack -Heal often (Boss does higher damage than you do. If you only attack, you will lose.) -Let yourself be defeated (Only attack.) I'd like to thank my friends who test-played my game! It means a lot to me! I hope you enjoy playing.
How To Play
Welcome to "Warrior Cats: Obscured Past." This is a story-based Warrior Cats game where you play as a kit who has to save their clan from a powerful and mysterious enemy. Please note that this somewhat of a spoof game, meaning that this game is comedic/playing on certain tropes within the realm of Warrior Cats. However, it also has a more serious side to it, thus this game is "semi-serious." Please keep this in mind. Controls: -A/D or arrow keys to move. (No mobile controls as of yet.) -To go to different areas, walk to the very edge of the screen. To enter dens, click on the den's opening. (The opening will light up when in contact with the player's mouse.) -To sleep, click on your bed ONCE. The sleep function is a bit slow to kick in, and clicking the bed more than once can cause you to skip days, which may break the game. (The bed is located in the Nursery as a kit, and is then switched to the Apprentice den as an Apprentice/Warrior.) -To attend the gathering, wait until either sunset or night, and then go past the warriors den. (Go all the way left.) To begin the gathering, talk to Awesomestar when in the gathering area. -To go to Evilclan, go all the way right. (Past the Nursery. The ground will turn to a darker shade of green as you move closer to Evilclan, for reference.) Endings: - All Together (Good Ending) -Borrowed Time (Bad Ending) -Houndstar's Vengeance (Neutral Ending) -The Past, Forever Lost (Bad Ending) For a list of all characters within the game, please see the "Notes and Credits" section down below. If you begin the game and are prompted with a question that doesn't regard character customization, (Anything other than asking for your character's name or gender) press the green flag again. (Press the flag twice before you start a new game after getting an ending to prevent any errors from occurring.) Furthermore, if any of the sprites are "phasing" through to other areas of the game for a second or two and then disappearing, try either reloading the page or pressing the green flag again.
