Game Introduction

My journey on Scratch began nearly nine years ago when my dad introduced me to the 2.0 version of the site. Since then, I've made many friends, completed over 100 individual projects, become a web developer and designer, got a real tech job, created Itchy, started a podcast, and so much more - all thanks to this amazing platform. Scratch has led me to so many amazing hobbies and skills that I wouldn't be the same person without. It's served as both a creative outlet and social community, and I'm so thankful for its existence. I've made the tough decision to finally leave Scratch. Every story has its ending, and this is mine. I'm now in college and I've lost the motivation to continue checking this account. Most of my good friends on the platform have moved off as well, and this new generation of Scratchers simply doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to. For the amazing friends I met on this platform - you guys are absolutely the best and it's been a privilege to get to know you, if only through this limited medium of the Internet. Watching y'all grow as people and as creators has been super cool, and I hope you continue for a long time to come. For the over fifteen hundred followers who came on this journey with me - thank you for your support, constant encouragement, and feedback. I never thought I'd get more than a hundred, and here we are at 1.5k. Crazy. For those who find this account in the future - I hope my legacy stands not as just a designer, or a popular Scratcher, but as a creative who did their best work for the community and was involved. There are thousands of projects better than mine, I'm well aware. Just remember that Scratch is all about learning and community - it's a springboard to further places. Always strive to go further.
