H.M.H.S BRITANNIC was the third and final vessel of the White Star Line's Olympic class of steamships and the second White Star Line ship to bear the name BRITANNIC. She was the youngest sister of the OLYMPIC and the TITANIC. She was intended to enter service as a transatlantic passenger liner but was coverted as a hospital ship during WW1. She later struck a underwater mine and sank in the Aegean Sea in just 55 minutes, taking 30 lives down with her on November 21, 1916.
