How To Play

hello! today i’ll be showing you how i’m making my tarot deck! (part 2!) (note - i plan to update this every so often, as making an entire deck of cards takes some time, so i’ll reshare occasionally!) just in case you want to follow along or make your own, i put the materials on part one and the next steps below! — the steps! — 3. sketch out the design you want for the back of the cards. i recommend keeping the design simple, so it if easy to recreate 4. paint the cards, one color at a time. i highly recommend waiting for each color to dry before moving onto the next — tips! — - after step 2, i recommend taking it one card at a time. focus on making the individual cards look good and have their own hidden meaning, more than speed or efficiency. this also gives you time to connect with the cards - during step 2 and 4, the cards may curl up or become soft. once they are dry, you can always (gently!!!) bend them back. they should settle naturally eventually. - if any cards rip, that’s ok! you can either rock the distressed style, or use those extra cards and replace them. - for the design on the back, keep it simple so that it’s easy to recreate on each card — timeline — part 1: 2/18/23 part 2: 3/4/23 tags - ignore these :) #witchcraft
