CMYK Halftone Eye

Game Introduction

❖ ❖ ❖ What is CMYK? ❖ ❖ ❖ If you're not familiar with color mixing, check out the following projects: Color Illusions (Part 1): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/550756447/ Color Illusions (Part 2): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/551106266/ RGB Monitor Simulator: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/552549282/ Additive & Subtractive Color Simulation: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/408617659/ ❖ ❖ ❖ How was this made? ❖ ❖ ❖ I used Photoshop to convert the original image to CMYK, separate the colors and convert them to halftone. Then I used a modified version of the script from CMY Bug to join them all together. How To Play

Click the green flag and watch as the cyan, magenta, yellow and black halftone images combine into a full-color image. ☝️ Take a close look at the image in full screen mode. Then move away from the screen until you can barely see the dots. What happens? ☝️ Use a magnifying glass and look at a printed photo in a magazine or a book. Do you find similar dots? ☝️ Note the different angles of each halftone. Can you figure out the purpose of that?
