The authors have confirmed that Tallstar and Jake’s relationship is romantic. Jake is also Firestar’s dad, with Nutmeg (Firestar’s mom) being one Jake’s other love interests. Also one of the authors said she thinks after he joined Starclan, Tallstar goes to kittypet heaven sometimes to visit Jake.
